Physicist: Quantum Science

Micromole is an early-stage company developing technology to meet serious biological, medical, and scientific needs. We are currently looking for a talented Quantum Physicist who is passionate about applying quantum physics to push the boundaries of biotechnology.

Job Description:

You will play a key role in our efforts to understand and apply quantum phenomena in biotechnology. The successful candidate will conduct high-quality research, develop and carry out quantum-based experiments, and analyze complex data. This role requires a deep understanding of quantum theory, the ability to solve challenging problems, and strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to understand and apply quantum physics in the context of biotechnological devices.

• Design and perform experiments to test quantum theories and uncover new knowledge in the field of biotechnology.

• Analyze data to understand the results of experiments and to challenge or confirm existing theories.

• Work closely with a team of scientists and engineers to achieve project goals.

• Communicate research findings through reports, presentations, and scientific publications.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in quantum physics and biotechnology.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Physics or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics.

• Experience in quantum physics research, particularly as it applies to biotechnology.

• Strong theoretical and experimental background in quantum physics.

• Proven experience in designing and carrying out quantum physics experiments.

• Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with high-tech biotechnology devices.

• Familiarity with interdisciplinary research, integrating physics and biology.

• Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in the field of quantum physics and biotechnology.
